Cerro del Toro is the second highest hill of the Piriápolis area.
It is also a part of the Sierra de las Animas, like the Cerro Pan de Azúcar and other minor hills.
It is possible to drive up on the north side. At the summit there is a life-size bronze statue of a bull that was shipped over from Paris.
It weighs 3000 kg and spouts water.
