The Feria Artesanal (Artisan Fair) was inaugurated on July 22th, 1967.
It is a must tour for Punta del Este visitors.
There are 200 stands on Plaza Artigas, offering the most varied articles: souvenirs, wool garments, leather articles, and valuable jewellery in gold, silver and semi-precious stones.
In the evenings it tends to be very crowded.
