    1. What does the expression "security policies" mean?

    2) With encryption (the information is codified and camuflated under a particular algorithm)
    All the procedures of the costumer's commercial information traffic (credit card number, expiring date, safety code, etc.).

    4. Which kind of data does Puntaweb.com system register?
    Puntaweb.com registers every data related to the operative of a reservation procedure:

    1) Reserved hotel
    2) Data referring to the reservation (period, type of room, quantity of rooms)
    3) Customer's personal data (name, surnames, address, e-mail, etc.)
    4) Data related to the authorization code, reservation code, etc.
    5. Which kind of data does Puntaweb.com system not register?
    Puntaweb is not authorized legally or technically to register the customer commercial data:

    1) credit card number
    2) expiring date
    6. Who administrates the traffic of commercial data?
    Only VisaNet Uruguay administrates the traffic of Puntaweb customer's commercial data.
    7. Is it possible to the commercial data to be known by a third person?
    No. VisaNet Uruguay provides Puntaweb.com site with a data encryption protocol that codifies the traffic between both systems making technically improbable and commercially unfeasible the interception or decoding of the information.
    8. Who else is reached by the commercial data knowledge exclusion?
    The Puntaweb Hotels customers commercial data are known only by the Visa system operators under their own security policies and conditions.
    9. Who determines the validity of a costumer's commercial data?
    The payment of a reservation made through Puntaweb.com is received, authorized and charged exclusively by VisaNet Uruguay payments server within the same reservation request procedure in a period of time of 15 seconds or lesser (according to VisaNet Uruguay).
    10. What does the expression "reservation holder" mean?
    The reservation holder is the individual to whose name is confirmed the reservation and the card's holder who had pay the reservation's down payment in Puntaweb Hotels hotel reservation procedure.
    11. Which responsibility has the reservation holder?
    The reservation holder is one of the individuals that must appear at the hotel to usufruct the hired service.
    12. What obligation has the hotel operator before the reservation holder?
    The hotel operator or the hired hotel's reception staff, will verify the identity of the reservation holder and request him/her the presentation of the credit card in order to corroborate the validity of the presentation.
    13. Before whom must be claimed a hotel reservation fraud?
    In case a person receives in his/her account statement a charge for a hotel reservation addressed to Puntaweb without having made such a reservation, he/she must claim such charge before his/her account official at his/her credit card issuing bank as usual.
