The Summer Theatre is named after the composer of the celebrated March of San Lorenzo, Cayetano Silva, who was born in San Carlos in 1768.
It was built in 1953 and was remodelled recently.
The cement stage is on the shores of the San Carlos River.
At the entrance, there is a small room where the Autonomous Council of San Carlos meets regularly.
A small bridge crosses the river, and there are barbecue spaces with tables and benches.
